A fortnightly Debate Club has recently been launched for all lycée students who want to extend their discussion skills and practise using spoken English in an academic context.

The club welcomes participants with all levels of English and provides a forum for students to discuss key issues and philosophical questions which affect them in an ever-changing world.

This week’s discussion explored ‘cancel-culture’ and the potential it has to both promote and censor debate, and raised many thought-provoking questions, as well as reaching insightful conclusions.
