{"id":62431,"date":"2025-05-31T01:40:37","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T18:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lfib.ac.th\/mun-conference-by-the-international-school-of-bangkok-isb\/"},"modified":"2025-06-06T14:46:59","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T07:46:59","slug":"mun-conference-by-the-international-school-of-bangkok-isb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lfib.ac.th\/en\/mun-conference-by-the-international-school-of-bangkok-isb\/","title":{"rendered":"MUN Conference by the International School of Bangkok (ISB)"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"62431\" class=\"elementor elementor-62431 elementor-62346\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d372ab e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5d372ab\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-171d4f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"171d4f8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Twelve 5th and 3rd graders, members of LFIB&#8217;s Model United Nations (MUN) club, had the chance to take part in a MUN conference organized on March 14 and 15 by the International School of Bangkok (ISB) in Nonthaburi.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Bringing together students from various international schools and a dozen or so international schools in Bangkok, the conference provided an opportunity for close negotiations on a variety of subjects, including <strong>cyber threats, access to education in war zones, accessibility to vaccination and maritime pollution in the Indian Ocean.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Two days of hard work and rich exchanges for the LFIB students at this conference, which was a great first for many of them. Our students returned with three <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><i>honorable mentions<\/i><\/span>s.
