LFIB in Australia to represent Thailand at the Asia-Pacific final of the \u201cAmbassadeurs, Ambassadrices en Herbe\u201d competition.
LFIB travelled to Australia to represent Thailand at the Asia-Pacific final of the \u201cAmbassadeurs, Ambassadrices en Herbe\u201d competition, which took place from 7 to 12 March between Sydney and Canberra. Organised by the Lyc\u00e9e Franco-Australien de Canberra, the event brought together students from 14 delegations across Asia and Oceania, representing 10 countries.
More motivated than ever, the students competed in a series of public speaking challenges addressing major contemporary issues under the theme:
\u201cAI: a revolution for the benefit of humanity?\u201d <\/p>

The debates focused on particularly stimulating questions:
\u2022 Does AI transform our definition of creativity?
\u2022 Does AI threaten human intelligence or stimulate it?
\u2022 Can AI be entrusted with managing climate policy?
\u2022 Does AI encourage the manipulation of public opinion?<\/p>

This final was marked not only by the remarkable quality of the students\u2019 performances, but also by the rich exchanges between schools from across the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>

The Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais International de Bangkok was represented by a particularly committed delegation of six students: Cl\u00e9mentine Cordier (CM2), Hema Vandeplassche (CM2), Alice Balay (6C), Aim\u00e9e Hoprasartsuk-Pellaumai (6B), Mandala Chanthalangsy (6D) and Eva Hoprasartsuk-Pellaumai (2C). Although the youngest delegation in the competition, our students demonstrated great seriousness, strong adaptability and a wonderful team spirit. They distinguished themselves in every round and competed impressively against highly accomplished teams. <\/p>

Special congratulations to Eva, who was chosen by the jury as Best Speaker among the 14 delegations. She will represent the Asia-Pacific region at the global final of the competition. <\/p>

Well done to our delegation, their accompanying teachers Ms. Fanette Morales and Mr. Alexandre Balet, and to all the primary and secondary teachers who helped prepare the students since November.
