EDUCATION TO
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Learning and committing to sustainable development

For several years, LFIB has been involved in a sustainable development approach. This approach includes all members of the community (teachers, students, administrative and technical staff, partners).

The commitment of the entire community to the E3D approach aims to address the various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the member states of the United Nations.

In this context, eco-delegates, from CM1 to terminale, play an active role in the approach, represent their peers, and propose projects related to the three interconnected pillars of sustainable development:

● The environmental pillar
● The social pillar
● The economic pillar

Furthermore, an E3D committee meets several times a year, bringing together interested parties (teaching and non-teaching staff, external stakeholders) to act in favor of sustainable development. In addition, training has been provided to certain staff members for more innovative practices.

This E3D approach is now integrated into the functioning of the institution. Thus, after analyzing the strategy developed by LFIB to be a sustainable development institution, the EFE3D level 2 label was awarded to the institution by AEFE.
