Our history
Since 1957, the Lycée Français International de Bangkok has been part of a dynamic of cultural and linguistic openness: from a small French embassy school, it has become a benchmark French high school in the Asia-Pacific region, thanks to the support of its long-standing institutional partners.
Birth of the Petite école française de Bangkok, on the Sathorn site
Construction of the new secondary building
- Construction of the second building (primary/secondary) and the CDI
- Signature of first agreement with AEFE (created in 1990)
- 100% direct teaching (elimination of Cned)
- Official birth of the Lycée Français de Bangkok
Relocation of Soi Ruamrudee nursery school
Relocation of Soi Yen Akat elementary school / First year of baccalaureate center (Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Phnom-Penh)
Jakarta, Manila and New Delhi gradually join Bangkok baccalaureate center
Creation of the Fondation Française pour l'Education, to support the development of the Lycée Français de Bangkok
- Recognition by the Thai Ministry of Education of the Lycée Français de Bangkok as an International Private School
- Fondation Française de l'Education: official launch of the Lycée Français International de Bangkok
- Moving to the Pracha Uthit site
