LFIB Wins an Award at Cinécourts en Herbe 2026!

What an achievement! Our Grade 12 Arts students have won the Very Short Film Award at Cinécourts en Herbe, the international French-language school short film festival!

What makes this award even more special? The entire project was created by the students themselves—from casting and cinematography to music, editing, and much more. A true team effort from start to finish!

It all began last year with an inspiring encounter with renowned Thai film director Kongkiat Komesiri (“Kome”), best known for Bangkok Breaking and Khun Pan.. That meeting sparked our students’ creativity, and as soon as the new school year began, the project was underway!

Supported by the AEFE since 2015 and organized by the Lycée Jean Monnet in Brussels and the Lycée Français Saint Louis in Stockholm, Cinécourts en Herbe invites students aged 4 to 18 each year to create short films—fiction, animation, documentaries, and more—which are then screened in cinemas.

Congratulations to all our students on this well-deserved recognition!
