On Thursday 10 September 2026, Lycée Français International de Bangkok was honoured to welcome His Excellency Mr. François VANDEVILLE, Ambassador of France to Thailand, accompanied by Mr. Ludovic ANDRES, Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation.

Upon his arrival, the Ambassador was welcomed by members of the Senior Leadership Team, led by Ms Dalila MESSEGHEM, Head of LFIB. Ms Peggy PITAVAL, French National Education Inspector for the Asia-Pacific region, whose office is based at LFIB, was also present.

The visit gave the Ambassador an opportunity to tour the school’s facilities and meet members of our school community.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to highlight LFIB’s place within the French international education network and its role in promoting France and the French education system in Thailand.
