A new space for training and educational innovation in the Asia-Pacific region 🌏

On October 6, 2025, the Lycée Français International de Bangkok (LFIB) inaugurated La Ruche, a space entirely dedicated to training, pedagogical reflection and exchange between education professionals. 🤝

The inauguration took place in the presence of the French Ambassador to Thailand, the Head of Sector and the zone’s training inspectors. Their presence gave this event a strong institutional dimension, marking France’s commitment to the training and support of staff in the French education network abroad. 🇫🇷✨

Attached to the Regional Training Institute (IFR) in Hanoi, La Ruche is destined to become a veritable training hub for the Asia-Pacific region. Starting this year, it will host seventeen training sessions for staff from partner establishments and EGDs in the region. 🗓️

In addition to its regional role, La Ruche will also be a meeting place for LFIB teachers. It will encourage exchanges of practices, pedagogical co-construction and the creation of innovative projects. 🚀

The name chosen, “la Ruche”, perfectly illustrates the spirit of the place: a lively, collaborative and creative space, where collective intelligence and cooperation nurture professional development and the quality of teaching. 🐝🌿

The inauguration was a high point for the lycée’s educational community and for the entire AEFE network in the region. It symbolizes the shared desire to make training an essential lever in the service of educational excellence and the influence of the French language and culture. 🎉🇫🇷
