For the third year running, 9 students from LFIB’s MUN club were lucky enough to take part in THAIMUN, held this year at Brighton College.
This is the largest MUN conference held each year in Bangkok, bringing together over 500 students from numerous international schools, with delegations from Turkey, Korea, Japan and Nepal, for three days of exceptional exchanges.

Intense debates on global issues

The LFIB students debated a variety of challenging topics:

  • Rescuing the NHS in the UK
  • The place of the Supreme Court in the United States
  • NATO’s role
  • Theft of property
  • The emergence of new synthetic drugs
  • Animal exploitation in space exploration
  • The end of the Napoleonic Wars in Europe

These subjects demanded a great deal of commitment from our students, who spared no effort in defending their positions with seriousness and eloquence.

Well-deserved awards

Their commitment was once again recognized with the following awards:

  • 1 Best Position Paper
  • 1 Honorable Mention

Congratulations and thanks to our delegates

We are absolutely proud of their dedication, rigor and passion. A fine demonstration of the dynamism of the LFIB MUN club.
